ShiftPay – Privacy Policy

      ShiftPay does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
      All calculations happen entirely on your device.
    

ShiftPay is a shift and overtime pay calculator designed for nurses, healthcare workers, and other shift workers. This policy explains what data (if any) is collected and how it is used.

Data We Collect

ShiftPay itself collects no personal data.

Specifically:

We do not require account creation or login
We do not collect your name, email, or contact information
Pay rates and hours you enter are processed locally and never transmitted
No calculation history is stored beyond your current session
We do not use analytics SDKs or crash reporting tools

Advertising (Google AdMob)

ShiftPay displays ads served by Google AdMob. To serve relevant ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect:

Advertising ID (resettable device identifier)
Device information (make, model, OS version)
IP address (used to infer general location for ad targeting)
App interaction data and diagnostics

This data is collected and processed by Google under their own privacy policy. You can review it at: policies.google.com/privacy

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time via your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (Android 12+) or Opt out of Ads Personalisation (older Android).

Local Storage

ShiftPay may use SharedPreferences (local device storage) to remember your last-used settings such as jurisdiction selection. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

ShiftPay is intended for adults (healthcare workers and shift employees). We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app is rated for general audiences and does not contain content directed at children.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party SDK integrated into ShiftPay is Google AdMob.

We do not integrate Facebook, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or any other data-collection service.

Your Rights

Since ShiftPay collects no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our end. For data collected by Google AdMob, please refer to Google's privacy tools at myaccount.google.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if the app's features change. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
